Most positions in Vegas hotels are tip based. Bartenders, bell hops, housekeeping, and valet attendants all work hard and provide extra service to the gusts. Tipping can earn the guests extra perks. With valet we can VIP your car, bartenders make stronger drinks, etc.

Also, Business Insider places the Average Net Worth for a 45-54 year old American at $84,542 (which I will round to $85,000). A donation of $1 million dollars by Donald Trump would by his own estimate be .01% of his net worth.
If an average American between 45-54 donated the same percentage of their net worth it would be $8.50.

By Forbes' estimate of 3.5 billion a donation of $1 million would be .029% of his net worth. This would be the equivalent of the average American (age 45-54) donating $24.28.

Donating money to disaster relief is a nice gesture.
